Reports, files and the cloud
Print the analysis on one page, save and open .pumppilot files, keep tests in the cloud and share them with colleagues.
The report
File > Report..., or Report on the toolbar, shows the analysis on one page: the test and its schedule, each well with its distance, number of readings and the lag-1 correlation of its residuals, the solution and its parameters with standard errors, the derived values, the fit statistics, the cautions and the plot as it is set in the workspace. Print or save as PDF opens the browser's print dialog, where you can choose a printer or save a PDF.
Files
File > Save (Ctrl+S) downloads the open test as a .pumppilot file, and File > Open... (Ctrl+O) opens one. The file holds everything: units, wells, readings, the schedule, the solution, the parameters and the last fit. It is JSON text, so other programs can read it too.
Cloud projects
Signed in, choose Cloud projects... from the account menu at the top right. A cloud project keeps a test on the server with its version history, so you can open it on another computer and share it with colleagues.
- Save as new cloud project stores the open test as version 1. Later, Save new version adds a version; versions are kept with who saved them and when.
- Open beside a project opens its latest version, and Open beside a version opens that one.
- Under People, the owner adds colleagues by email as editors or viewers.
- If someone else saved a newer version while you were editing, PumpPilot asks whether to open theirs, save yours as a copy, or save yours on top.
Each pilot has its own cloud projects: PumpPilot lists only PumpPilot tests. The Free plan includes 3 PumpPilot cloud projects and Pro more; see Plans.
